Pulwama and domestic Indian politics

  No political Adventurism please! On February 14,2019 the CRPF convoy consisting of 2547 personnel and 78 vehicles came under attack at Lethpora,near Awantipora on Jammu-Srinagar highway. The incident has brought shock and then anger throughout the country. All political parties including the main opposition Congress has come united to stand in solidarity with the government of India on the issue. The attack has certainly hurt the conscience of every Indian and a subsequent outrage is visible and obvious. But this terror incident inevitably has swung the political discourse and especially the political narratives of domestic politics here in India which largely swelled-up during almost five years of Modi regime around developmental and other soco-political and socio-economic issues. These narratives some how grew in an unpleasantly manner and were sort of haunting the central government at a time when the nation is to vote in a near two months time to elect the new repersentatives
