Ethnic Cleansing begins with 2020 Delhi riots! The much talked genocide of the Jews in Hitler's Nazi Germany during 1930s and a possible parallel situation with Muslims in India if it switches to become a Hindu nation and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as its head has formally began with the sparking of Delhi riots. Is this an exaggeration Or over estimation of the loss of lives and properties during Delhi riots? No, it is not! If one is ready to sincerely listen to the narratives of the victims and survivors of the violence that ruled the streets and Neighbourhoods of North East Delhi. During and post violence experts argued that the law and order machinery failed . To me it didn't failed, rather it chose to work with the RSS/Hindu rioters. Muslims clearly saw from which side police acted, so when arson took place and brutality was unleashed Delhi Police went-off from the site and at places when communities came face to face Police laticharged and fired tear gas from standi

1992 Babri Demolition To Delhi Riots 2020! Political nuances of the much awaited Ayodhya-Babri dispute verdict have now started off showing its true vicious colour. The most recent is the ongoing 2020 Delhi riots. However, in the very beginning I would like to make it very clear that it is not as such a "riot" between communities over a religious matter, indeed it is without any confusion, a politically mastered, well conspired criminal act targeting Muslims. I am also amazed, how before people can actually come out of the immediate trauma of this unpardonable crime incident that unleashed terror in the localities of North East Delhi , where mostly Muslim households and shops were targeted, liberal urban elites started talking indefinitely about brotherhood prevailing in the neighborhood. Come on! Let's face it! Before this state backed radical Hindutva violence incident occurred in the national capital, Our socio-political structure already had have ruptures be

"REASONABLE" means Rationale, "RATIONALE" equals to SCIENTIFIC. In the Indian constitutional domain, "reasonable" clearly means rationale, which in turn means scientific, not based on superstitions, individual or community belief, but, what can be found true by scientific method such as, interpretation based on data analysis, Statistics etc. I.e. some real figures. Religion has been discarded more than once in the Indian Constitution as a basis for any course of action, be it, that of the legislative, executive or the judiciary. Unfortunately more than once India as a nation had witnessed, recently, that religion superseded all other evidences(Ayodhya-Babri case verdict from supreme court). We have instances in the constitution , besides the preamble in which "Equality" Stands as one of the pillars of the whole constitutional framework, and which is why time and again it has been called by the Supreme Court of India as part of the "fu

Democracy for Sale:Failed Polity, impotent laws & corrupt Citizenry India in 2022 will complete 75 years of its independence from British colonial rule. Surely not the oldest(not considering older instances, Vaishali Ganrajaya, and thus only in the context of India as a modern nation state) but India is now the largest democracy on this planet. Let's see, how democracy in India is at work? And to do so, we try and read it under three significant heads, state of the polity at present, relevance of the laws recently created by the Indian parliament and thirdly what kind of citizens are we? i.e. Shaping up of our citizenship. How it has happened over the years? To begin with, let's look at some primary figures and its analysis in a specific way. 900 million voters were listed with Election Commission of India by the time 2019 general election actually took-off in the month of April this year. Out of this 900million , 600 million finally turned out to polling booths, for

Kashmir conflict movement and alternative politics. On March 22nd this year, i interviewed Dr. Shah Faesal in Srinagar, during my maiden and a week's time trip to J&K (experiences of which I will share some other time, so as to remain concerned about the subject of this article), that is Kashmir conflict, movement and the alternative politics in J&k, of which it seems now Dr. Shah Faesal is emerging as it's key figure (i.e. of the alternative politics). Why is he significant ?Let's see. Post-Pulwama things became percipitative and the environment in the valley got vitiated. But let me put in place the right context first. Let's talk about the 'Kashmir movement,' itself and the rhetoric around it. Every second Kashmiri i met, till date, be it in Kashmir or elsewhere, had this argument ready with them that, " Kashmir, like India under British colonial rule carried it's freedom movement for 200 years and won Independence, we too will

A Challenge Called, 'China-Pak' Duo ! When it comes to thinking about a possible result of a India-pak military confrontation,we are fairly confident of having a dominance over the situation. But what will be the magnitude of destruction on the Indian side and at what cost such a 'win over the situation,' will come to us suddenly wakes up all of us and then follows apprehensions as how to execute a military action plan against Pakistan? Similarly, but in a different situation with a different country, China if we recognize it as India's major threat in the continent apprehensions takes the first place and whether to go for a military confrontation, the answer is definitely,"no." The question is how and why we have these two different responses to war situations with these two of our continental allies ? Let's consider some of the facts which surrounds the 'trio,' India, Pakistan and china . Firstly, all three of them are 'nuclear-ar

No political Adventurism please! On February 14,2019 the CRPF convoy consisting of 2547 personnel and 78 vehicles came under attack at Lethpora, near Awantipora on Jammu-Srinagar highway. The incident has brought shock and then anger throughout the country. All political parties including the main opposition Congress has come united to stand in solidarity with the government of India on the issue. The attack has certainly hurt the conscience of every Indian and a subsequent outrage is visible and obvious. But this terror incident inevitably has swung the political discourse and especially the political narratives of domestic politics here in India which largely swelled-up during almost five years of Modi regime around developmental and other soco-political and socio-economic issues. These narratives some how grew in an unpleasantly manner and were sort of haunting the central government at a time when the nation is to vote in a near two months time to elect the new repersentatives
